Urban Renewal is defined as the revitalisation of established urban areas to provide for a greater range of housing, employment and social activities. The principal focus of urban renewal is to transform old and neglected suburbs into vibrant communities with viable investment opportunities through effective planning, infrastructure improvements and partnerships between government, community and business.
