Improved Glossary Display Format
CED is a strategy by which local development organizations mobilize local resources for a multi-faceted development campaign. Pursuing opportunities, risk-taking in investment, innovation and creativity are collective community strategies that promote development by the community for itself. Government programs may be used and corporate support attracted, but organizations representing the interests of the local community, launch and direct the initiatives.
